Terms & Fees

Justice4Heroes – Supporting UK Armed Forces Personnel with Military Hearing Loss Claims

1. Introduction

Justice4Heroes is a trading style of MFM Claims Limited, a Claims Management Company authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority to carry out regulated claims management activities.

These Terms and Fees explain how our service works and how we may be paid if you choose to proceed with a claim.

You should read this document carefully before entering into any agreement.

2. Our Services

Justice4Heroes provides information and claims management support to former members of the UK Armed Forces who may have hearing loss linked to their military service.

Our role may include:

• Helping you understand whether you may have a potential claim
• Collecting initial information about your service history and hearing issues
• Explaining how the claims process works
• Introducing you to a solicitor experienced in military hearing loss claims where appropriate

Justice4Heroes is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

Any legal advice or legal representation will be provided by an independent solicitor if you choose to proceed with a claim.

All claims are subject to individual assessment and evidence. No guarantee of outcome can be given.

3. Fees and How We May Be Paid

3.1 Using Justice4Heroes

You do not need to use a Claims Management Company to pursue a claim for hearing loss linked to military service.

You may choose to pursue a claim yourself or seek advice directly from a solicitor.

3.2 Solicitor Fees

If you choose to proceed with a solicitor introduced through Justice4Heroes, the solicitor may offer to handle your claim under a No Win No Fee agreement.

This means you will usually not pay legal fees if the claim is unsuccessful.

If your claim is successful, the solicitor will charge a success fee of 25% + VAT of the compensation they achieve for you.

The exact terms, conditions and fees will be explained by the solicitor before you decide whether to proceed.

3.3 Introducer Fees

Justice4Heroes may receive a referral fee from the solicitor if you choose to proceed with a claim following an introduction made by us.

This introducer fee does not increase the amount you pay and does not affect the compensation you may receive.

4. Your Responsibilities

If you contact us regarding a potential claim, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Inform us of any relevant updates relating to your claim
• Respond to reasonable requests for information where necessary

Providing accurate information helps ensure any assessment of your claim is based on the correct circumstances.

5. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact us using the details below:

Telephone: 0800 776 5622
Email: [email protected]

We will handle complaints in accordance with FCA complaint handling rules and aim to provide a final response within eight weeks.

If you remain dissatisfied after receiving our final response, you may be able to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, which provides a free and independent dispute resolution service.

Please note that military hearing loss claims themselves cannot be referred to the Financial Ombudsman Service, as they do not fall within its jurisdiction.

6. Data Protection

Justice4Heroes processes personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation.

Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of Liability

Justice4Heroes cannot guarantee the success of any claim or the level of compensation that may be awarded.

Claims are assessed on an individual basis and depend on the specific facts and supporting evidence available.
